Smyrna Police detectives are continuing to investigate a nighttime shooting on S Main St. On Friday 12/17/21 at approx. 10:15 pm officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of S Main St. Arriving officers located a 28-year-old male victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries to his lower extremities. Officers rendered aid until the arrival of EMS. The victim refused to be transported to the hospital and at this time is being uncooperative with investigators. Detectives interviewed several potential witnesses, and this investigation remains active.
