The Smyrna Police Department has charged a 25-year-old male from Wilmington, DE, in connection with the shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the End Zone Bar and Grill on October 10, 2026.

During the investigation, detectives identified the Wilmington male suspect and obtained arrest warrants, along with two additional search warrants for residences in Wilmington, DE, and Newark, DE.

With assistance from the New Castle County Police Department SWAT, detectives took the suspect into custody without incident on October 20, 2026, after executing a search warrant in Newark, DE. At the same time, the Wilmington Police Department SWAT executed a separate search warrant at a residence within their jurisdiction related to the shooting. As a result of these search warrants, detectives located evidence linking the suspect to the shooting at both residences.

The suspect was charged with the crimes listed below, video-arraigned in JP #2, and committed to the Department of Corrections in lieu of $364,000.00 cash bail pending a future court hearing.

On October 28, 2026, detectives filed additional charges against the suspect, and he was remanded to DOC custody in lieu of an additional $184,000.00 cash bail.  All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
