Smyrna Police investigating non-fatal shooting.

Smyrna Police detectives are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred late on Saturday night. On 3/25 at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of W North St for a reported shooting. They located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his extremity. Officers rendered medical aid until the victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment; he remains there in stable condition. Currently, there are no suspects, and detectives are receiving limited cooperation from the victim. Any persons with information are encouraged to contact Detective M. Kealty of SPD at 302-653-9217.
