The Smyrna Police Department is committed to maintaining the highest levels of transparency and connection with the citizens we serve.  In furtherance of this commitment, the SPD routinely issues news releases, publishes social media posts and interacts with members of the news media/bloggers/video journalists etc.  We are active on both Facebook and Twitter and our latest news releases can be found on this web page under the News Release tab.  Our current Public Information Officer(s) (PIO) are Lt.
